The Young-Smith His and Her Wedding Shower BBQ

For the Young-Smith His and Her Wedding Shower, we decided to go down on the farm for an outdoor barbeque filled with fun, food, family, and friends. The weather did not look like it was going to cooperate, so we set up inside and on the porches of the Stump Family Farm House in order to keep guests dry and comfortable. For this particular event, Cynthia Stump Events and Promotion not only planned all of the details, but also provided the catering and venue as a part of the customized package designed by the client.
Run to Remember 5K Fundraiser Event

The Run to Remember Fundraiser Event is one that we have had the priviledge of being a part of for five years now. This year, Cynthia Stump Events and Promotion was able to participate as a sponsor, provide promotional goodies for the runner's swag bags, as well as, work with the race director on organizational details. As an addition to the Basic Package we offer, the client chose to utilize our Day of Event Service truly making a customized package that served all of his event needs.
NCHS Run-a-thon Fundraiser Event

Cynthia Stump Events and Promotion had the opportunity to be a part of The Nicholas Cross Country Team's unique fundraiser event that not only provided the community with a rare opportunity to use the high school track, but challenged the team's athletic ability as well. With our assistance in the areas of organization and promotion, the team members received sponsors and set out to run as many miles as they could in a 12 hour period. The community was welcomed to come walk, run, or just show their support for the team in this time period as well. It was a successful evening, as the team ran 216 miles; 21 of those miles belonging to our own, Cindy Stump, who was graciously sponsored by Mayor Shafer of Summersville, WV and was able to raise $210 for the team! We will always go the extra mile, or more, for our clients!
Nicholas County Potato Festival Pageant
2017
Once again, we were hired to style the Nicholas County Potato Festival Pageant, as well as tabulate the scores of the contestants. We have attended this event for many years now and enjoy it each and every year.
THE Underwood Bridal Shower
For this event, the Maid of Honor selected the decor and simply needed our help putting the design together. We were able to add special touch with our first ever balloon arch. We had so much fun putting this together, it will certainly not be our last arch! In addition to the design services, we also provided Day-Of Services so that the Maid of Honor could enjoy the day stress free while celebrating her best friend.
For this event, we designed a vintage mermaid themed shower to celebrate the coming of Baby Chapman. We were there from the very beginning to the very end and handled all of the details, but the catering and the baking of the cake. While the design of the cake was our own, it took a very talented baker to bring our design to life. We were honored to have had a part in such a special day and can't wait to meet our celebrated guest!

EXPO SEASON 2018
Expo Season quickly came and went for us this year. What fun we had while it lasted! We participated in the 3rd Annual Small Town Bridal Show in Morgantown, WV and The Prom and Bridal Expo in Summersville, WV. We met some really great clients, found many new vendors to work with, and gave away a lot of great gifts in the process. See you next year Future Mrs.!
The Moore Birthday Party
This was a unique adult roller skating party held at the Craigsville Skating Rink for our Birthday Girl's 65th Birthday. We were asked to assist with a simple theme design and some minimal décor to make this party extra special. We worked with a skilled baker to create an adorable cake and our Elvis was a big hit! No job is too small or too big for us. Let us customize a package to assist you with your next celebration.
Moats Baby Shower
What can we say? We love celebrating tiny little humans, and this baby shower was a special one. We were hired to take care of the design and decor - our only instructions? Pink and sparkly! We decided glam duckies would do the trick.
This celebration was held at City Hall in Richwood, WV. The food was provided by family and the cake was created by Creative Cakes and Floral located in Summersville, WV.
Jarvis McClung Wedding
For this wedding, we were hired to manage the rehearsal, take the decorations previously purchased by the bride and decorate the day of the event, as well as provide Day Of services. We could not have been more honored to assist and celebrate with this sweet couple!
Nicholas County Potato Festival Pageant 2018
We enjoy designing the awards table and selecting decor for this pageant year after year. Of course, we always try to incorporate the potato into our design and always enjoy the challenge. This year, we tried our hand at making large paper flowers for our Kate Spade inspired theme, we used baby potatoes as our vase filler, and stayed throughout the whole day and evening to tabulate the scores. Our paper flower creation was so liked, the Children's Pageant Directors moved it front and center on stage for their pageant the next day!
Carpenter Tyo Wedding
We aren't sure what was the best thing about this wedding; getting to celebrate with the cutest couple or having the opportunity to work with the best wedding team! Either way, this was a night to remember.
We were there from the start for this event. We assisted the bride with the design, provided and stayed within the budget, completed all purchasing and stored all decor needed for the wedding, rented our chair covers, executed the design, managed the rehearsal, and provided Day Of services to ensure the day ran smoothly. We even made sure they had some treats in their Honeymoon Sweet at the end of the evening! This was our first wedding with our partners, Days Inn and Suites Conference Center, and we couldn't be more happy to have them as a part of our team!

Dorsey Wills Wedding
For this couple's special day, we provided some guidance with vendors and our Day Of Coordination to ensure the day ran smoothly. The bride and groom enjoyed selecting and purchasing all the decor and adding their own personal touches to the space and we were happy to be able to rent our chair covers to help complete the look they wanted.

Mathieu Chapman Wedding
This gorgeous couple selected our Partial Package to assist with their wedding day. With this package, we provided guidance with most of the vendors, assisted with the budget, assisted with the design, purchasing, and storing of most of the decor, utilized and seamlessly incorporated other decor purchased by family, provided Rehearsal Management and Day Of Coordination, and assisted with clean up and break down of the space. It was a beautiful fall evening and we were not ready for this special night to end. I must add that this bride was one of the most relaxed I have ever seen!
